What information do we need?

To be able to register the problem, we need a few basic facts. The faster you provide us this information, the faster we can make the registration. When you send us an e-mail, it is wise to mention the following information :

  • Your name and the name of your company.
  • Your telephone number and your personal e-mail address.
  • When it’s about a call that was registered before, or about a call that was closed already, please mention our call-ID.
  • A clear one-line description.
  • Your opinion about the nature of the problem (hardware, software, mixed, telecom)
  • Your opinion about the priority of the problem according the above mentioned classification of SAVACO
  • In case of problems with a specific device, please mention : the brand, the part number and serial number of the device (for monitors, keyboards and mice also give us the part- and serial number of the PC or server which they are connected with).
  • In case of problems or questions about specific software : the name of the software, the version and the language (English, Dutch, French,…).
  • You can help us a great deal if you know a univocal way to reproduce the problem. Unfortunately some problems exist of the fact that they are very hard to reproduce. We will find the solution a lot faster when we can reproduce the problem immediately by the means of your findings, than if we have to find out ourselves at what time the problem occurs.
