Need for modernisation in the IT environment

As a manufacturer of reflective and fluorescent clothing and products, Wowow Europe understands better than anyone how important safety is. But the company also aims to excel in reliability and efficiency behind the scenes. When their permanent IT staff member moved on to a new role, Wowow Europe faced a major challenge: “Our IT infrastructure was completely stuck in a rut. We needed a partner who could get our IT back on track,” explains Shana Devos, Operations Manager at Wowow Europe.

Savaco supported Wowow Europe in its transition to a cloud server and set up a new SharePoint environment. The ERP system was also migrated to a more secure environment. “The support we received went very smoothly; we really felt supported,” Shana continues. Thanks to the SharePoint platform, document management is now much more flexible at Wowow Europe. “We can upload documents in real time and even work on a single document with several colleagues at the same time. That boosts our efficiency enormously,” Shana explains enthusiastically.

Managed Services provide peace of mind

Wowow Europe also relies on Savaco for its day-to-day IT management, using Support 365, Savaco’s managed services tailored to SMEs. “Support 365 gives us peace of mind: if there are any problems, we can always ring the Savaco Service Desk straight away, and emails are answered super-quickly too.” Things do go wrong sometimes, but Savaco is always there. “I’ll never forget the time a colleague accidentally deleted our entire SharePoint. Total panic, of course, but luckily Savaco was there to sort it out. We were back up and running within the hour. That sort of service really makes all the difference to us.”
