Simulations for optimal products
Boplan designs, develops and produces durable and highly efficient fall and impact protection for the most demanding environments. All safety products have only one goal in mind: the protection of people, vehicles, buildings and infrastructure.
Their products are carefully simulated during the development phase. The purpose of such an analysis is to gain insight into the operation of a product under various circumstances in order to further optimize the design. Boplan uses a simulation tool for Finite Elements Analysis for this, which requires a lot of computing power. CPU and GPU are therefore very important to successfully complete these simulations.
For these simulations, Boplan therefore needs a powerful desktop with high graphic performance. On their current device: an HP Z1 - such a simulation often took (more than) 6 pm. A very time-consuming task that could go more smoothly today.
